For our 4th %u2018Funkpony%u2019 release we bring you more fresh and upcoming talent in the form of Adam Sharpe with his %u2018YO EP%u2019. The title track %u2018Yo%u2019 is a pumping groover, which incorporates an urban flavour gangster vibe vocal over an extremely catchy bassline. This track has been road tested over the last few months and has never failed to get the floor going.
%u201CJust a little more%u2019 keeps the feel of the release but changes the mood through an uplifting house tool that combines soft grooves with a feel good vocal.
This leads on nicely to the 3rd original track on the release, in the shape of
%u2018Born again%u2019 a little gem of a house track.. All three tracks manage to really demonstrate Adam%u2019s signature style , while proving they all have a time and a place on the dance floor.
The two remixes on the release are vastly different in what they achieve; Jonny Hopkinson%u2019s take on %u2018Yo%u2019 is a deep tech house stormer that is perfect for those underground floors, with its rolling drums and percussion that will shake any dance floor deep into the night.
Next on the remix front we have 'Howson Bros', these two are making some infectious music between them at the moment. Their take on %u2018Just a little more%u2019 is a down tempo atmospheric number that stays very true to the original, using the vocal to great effect, we like this one and I am sure you will too.
