Thylacinus returns to Cosmic Elements with a three track Mushroom Jazz inspired offering entitled 'Psilocybe EP'.
The opening track 'Zapotecorum' is a deep, dreamy, hypnotic and somewhat moody groove that one could easily get lost in, just like the southern Mexican 'shroom that it gets its name from. Next up is a very jazzy and deep track with a Derrick Carter-esque bassline and named 'Farinacea' in ode to both the founder and king of Mushroom Jazz himself (Mark Farina) and of course the mushroom. Last but not least is the dreamy 'Callosa' which completes a well rounded and trippy EP.
Also check out the first ever vinyl album by Thylacinus & Da Funksta entitled 'A New Beginning', available exclusively on Bandcamp and limited to just 200 copies.
