Making their debut as a collaborative duo on Sprout are ZAC and Bäkka, with a sensational three-tracker called the 'Distortion EP'.

Opening with a solid kick, title track 'Distortion' is full of dark energy from the off. Growling bass notes meld with clattering percussive tones building tension throughout relief finally coming from the break. Then it's all guns blazing.

Keeping on trend, 'El Fabuloso Mundo De Hans' is a deeper cut with an infectious groove. Clattering hats again take the lead, joined by snappy claps, rubbery kicks and organ pads. Growing organically, this is a real journey track as layers of melodic tension add to the overall sound design.

Finally, 'Red Star' rounds out the pack in style. Low end might from the first bar gives way to energetic percussion and fx. Melodic keys hook you in for the ride as pads swell underneath finally coming to a crescendo at the break.
