After his well-received remix on the ‘Giv Me Luv’ 2013 package, 1trax label boss Dodha returns with his latest release, Symbasim. The first in a series of releases from Dodha this year see him explores a percussive tip, combining tribal influences with an off-kilter modulated dub siren that wiggles and wobbles throughout the mix. Symbasim has already picked up Radio 1 plays and is doing damage on all discerning dancefloors. On remix duties Hypercolour label boss Alex Jones turns in a rolling techno work-out aimed squarely at the dance floor. Mechanical like precision on the processing and relentless in its arrangement, Jones proves why he’s one of the hottest names in the underground electronic music.
