Miguel Palhares is back at Piston Recordings with another superb slice titled ‘Dream’ which follows his last effort here - ‘Get It On EP’. For some time now, Portugal's most prestigious clubs have been swept up in the energetic whirlwind of his performances, where he effortlessly blends quality tracks, infusing every party with an unmatched sense of joy and liveliness. His reputation for versatility and a keen ear for track selection has earned him a coveted place on top labels' rosters since 2013. Piston Recordings has had the privilege of showcasing his extraordinary talent time and time again, and we're delighted to have him back once more.

The Original Mix opens the release and wastes no time in getting down to business with a solid, punchy kick and shuffling percussions set up. Playful chord stabs fade up alongside a swelling bassline that pulsates invitingly, making you move to the groove. Sweeping FX add depth and a spacey vibe on the break before heading to the final act. Long-time Piston friend Luis Bravo makes a welcome return to the label with his Limbo Remix. Always one to deliver, Luis continues a run of fine releases and remixes where he brings his unique style to the table. His interpretation here ramps up the energy levels to ignite the dancefloor. Punchy kicks and a strong offset bass dominate the intro before rhythmic percussions slice through the deeper elements. Subtle melodies play out in the distance as the focus remains on the driving force of the groove while on the break a surreal sequence takes us back to the main groove for the duration. Superb stuff once again from Luis.
