LYTWRK Records presents 'Shadow Work', the debut EP release of Mike Antix on LYTWRK Records.

Some of the great minds of our time express the importance of reaching into our darkness and accepting it's existence by simply shaking hands with it and becoming aware of the knowledge that can be gained from exploring the vastness of our subconscious. The act of accepting our darkness as well as our light is refered to as 'Shadow Work'. It is an important step to the evolution and ascension of individual consciousness and is arguably the single most important aspect of ones journey through their experience. 'The Ppl' are more powerful than they have been told, and need only to 'Believe' in the power within.

The sonic nature of 'Believe' was inspired by the deep & mysterious jungles of Tulum. From the moving Harmonies of the instrumental, came forth the meaning behind the track: 'Believing' in the power of our darkness and casting light of our awareness toward the future by illuminating our shadows.

In an ever expanding world of forces which seek to dominate perception, we must become steadfastly aware that choice is our birth right. The concept of 'The Ppl' explains that while the inhabitants of this planet are sovereign beings, there are those that wish to control and manipulate us by using our energy as a product in the act of profit before people. We aren't here to destroy what was built for us, but we are here to destroy the control over the people.
