One of our favourite deep house tracks of the last two years is Kevin McKay, Eppers & Notelle's "On My Own". Combining Eppers & McKay's deep beats and Notelle's haunting vocals has proved an enduring winner. So we were all ears when Notelle popped into our inbox with a sketch for Kevin that she'd written with fellow Nashville-based DJs and producers, Lux Velour. A few sessions later, we are ready to present "Body", a stellar deep house groove with another killer topline from Notelle. While "On My Own" had a more brooding, hypnotic groove, "Body" is a warm, jazz-inflected cut that reminds us of the early deep house on labels like Nugroove and Strictly Rhythm. Expect to hear this one in warm-ups and day parties for some time.
