Hot Pot is a producer to keep on your radar as he is consistently bringing unique and fresh flavors to producing electronic music. His music fills up a room with his amazing quality of sound on top of his songwriting which will inspire others in his footsteps. Hot Pot is impeccable at sticking to food references in his songs to never sway too far off the brand. He finally has a self-titled album to showcase everything the project Hot Pot is about. He has been working hard on this album for about half a year with incredible attention to detail and perfection, and it is certainly something to write home about.

The album starts off with a haunting intro track featuring some of Hot Pot's thick synths and other sounds you will hear throughout the album, flowing into 'Gold Diamonds and Platinum' bringing a rugged bass and melodic prophet breakdown that gives a morning light energy and perfectly contrasts the darker heavy hitting drops in perfect cohesion.

The album goes on to showcase Hot Pot's collaborative side. 'Money' with long-time friend Honeycomb is loaded with ear candy and smooth textures. 'No Mercy' is a collaboration between Hot Pot and label heads Two Tails. 'No Mercy' has pretty melodic breakdowns with soft piano and a harmonious vocal line to bring it all together. Combined with the classic heavy-hitting Hot Pot bassline and thick analog synths, this song is bound to make you feel something.

From Hot Pot's catchy food-related lyrics and acid bass lines in 'Eggs and Bacon', heavy hitting buildups in 'Hold A Grip', or his unique breaks flavor in 'Still Getting Phonky', it's evident that he continues to make his main focus curating a playful fun energy for his listeners.
