The Third Milestone

Various Artists

Infinite Depth
ID043 | 2023-06-30
After two years, another milestone has been reached with the third various artists release on the label. Again, we are very delighted that we were able to compile a pack which for us hit the right compilation of abstract elements, dark grooves, melancholy and beautiful tracks. We are celebrating this milestone together with a combination of artists who are new on the label and artists who are returning. We are very happy to announce that Several Definitions, Nick Jojo, Martín Dubiansky, Tonco and Remains Of Silence will debut and that Stoac, MUNSE, Paul Roux, Rowdy and Altman came back once again.

The VA starts off with ‘Interlude’ by Several Definitions, which hits all the boxes with its overwhelming melody, abstract percussion and original arrangement. Stoac is the one who follows with his track ‘Subtle Art’. This one is a real builder. Everything comes together towards the end of the track, generating an unforgettable moment. Next up is MUNSE with ‘Memorial’, which has his signature theatral sound. Firm kicks and basslines are combined with impressive classical symphonies and unexpected twists.

‘Horizon’ by Nick Jojo is the fourth track of the collection. With its trancy atmosphere and driving low-end, it is a real pacesetter and euphoric dancefloor track. After this the vibe gets switched a bit with ‘Himalaya’ by Paul Roux. Again, Paul shows what he can do best, creating compelling and dreamy arrangements accompanied by more fast-pace kicks and percussion. Martín Dubiansky managed to create the most abstract track of the VA, which is titled ‘Cello And Thoughts’. This one is the representation of an ordered chaos, which has performed perfectly by Martín.

Tonco’s ‘Solid Ground’ is another one for the dancefloor. It has a unique focus on its background elements, through which the main lead comes to the forefront, generating an uplifting energy. ‘Voices In My Head’ is the conceptual track of the VA. The full arrangement is built around a narrative voice with underlaying rhythmic percussion and hypnotic synthwork.

Rowdy sets the dark tone through with ‘Precedent’. The complex use of synths is what makes this track special. Combined with its authentic percussion, another signature Rowdy track has been emerged. The ideal closing of the VA is ‘Eternity’ by Altman. Using a lot of home recorded and organic samples, he managed to create an intriguing and emotional composition, which will definitely makes you forget time.
