We yet again have another fresh new act for you. This one's called Audit aka Justin Stirling from Canada. And may we say one of Canada's finest DJ's. Holding a long history of music his early musical endeavors included piano and a stint on a baritone (most people ask what the hell is that??? Actually we don't Evan know). He started drumming at age 12 mostly studying jazz and Latin. At 17 he was properly introduced to hip hop by a local beat junkie who gave him the knowledge of beats, scratching and hip-hops' roots. The record collection grew and he traveled the lengths of Canada dj'ing all major cities.
So we finish 2005 with a Banga and boy do we have a gem for ya! With this young man's debut 'Phernie funk', tripping the light fantastic! Delving into old B Boy samples and brought up to date to the now with one killa of a tone drop Baseline. There is a definite substance in here we're sure you'll agree 'This Rocks Socks'.
On remix duties this time we have none other than the two hottest names in Breaks at the moment infact they are so hot they make the depths of firey hell look like an Ice age! So enter Splitloop and Circuit Breaker.
Splitloop, fresh after their debut album on Against The Grain and currently on a world tour they jumped at the chance of remixing this one. And go at it hammer and tongs given the floor what it disserves 'some proper full on funky monkey business'! This has already been deemed there finest ever remix and we recon you'll be mad to disagree.
Circuit Breaker, Berlins finest and probably one of the hardest working producers we know also pulled a stonker out of the hat, hittin more peak time, this one's unleashed like a beast in a field.. Some techiness dolloped with funk fueled drums and wicked vocal snippets and scratches.
