Maintaining his fervent momentum, Sean Thomas AKA &friends has teamed up with fellow producer Dr. Feel for the latest single releasing via his own Hidden Hands imprint. Featuring the vocals of West African native Phina Asa, 'Dangerous' is a smooth, spirited addition to the growing &friends musical catalogue.

Dynamic synthwork and poised percussion soulfully wefts the production of 'Dangerous' around Phina Asa's effervescent vocals. This release marks the fist of many upcoming features from the half Cameroonian and Nigerian artist to be showcased by &friends.

Phina Asa's first time singing to a large audience was at the age of 10 in Cameroon at boarding school, music has always been her inspiration and a means of communicating her thoughts and feelings to the world. For Phina, music is a place of commonality and is her unique way of providing light to those in the dark.

'The idea behind our record 'Dangerous' is that a lot of people tend to be judged by just one glance or how they look, or maybe people assume because you are kind, pleasant, and cheerful, that makes you weak, but somehow our society has forgotten that we are all human. For when we judge, it is Dangerous.' - Phina Asa

&friends is the musical concept and brainchild of New York based Sean Thomas. Drawing the breadth of his inspiration for these musical works from the global cultures, Sean had a vision to create a project embodying tradition, culture and community culminating in the coining of &friends.

Since the project's 2022 debut the sounds of &friends have made their way to every corner of the globe. The Nitefreak Remix of 'Ode Ireti' ft. Oluwadamvic saw unprecedented, viral success. Receiving massive radio and touring support from top names in the space, the infectious chorus 'o-le-le' has become a staple in the sets of many titans of dance music.

From New York, to Miami, Marrakech, Madrid, Mexico City - Tulum to Toronto and beyond, &friends is already making his mark on dance floors around the world. In his short time on the scene, &friends has received support by Pete Tong of BBC Radio 1, Black Coffee, Diplo, &ME, Keinemusik, Michael Bibi, Blond:ish, Francis Mercier and many more. Also catching the eye of media tastemakers, he's earned attention from the likes of LA Weekly, Wonderland Magazine, Magnetic Magazine, Electronic Groove, EARMILK and more.

2023 is already delivering a thoughtfully produced, artfully composed compilation of works set to make its way to listeners in the time ahead. Through a holistic, multifaceted approach, the project is set to make its way to even more dance floors around the world to unite us all.
