Southern Italian player Vito Natoli makes a swift return to Hooj with another deep, stripped back club track on 'Emotions', again exploring the hinterlands between techno, trance and house.
Second track 'Para Encontrarte' takes a less strident approach, lowering the tempos, and letting a trippy little synth line do the melodic work, as a husky Italian lady provides some immersive vocal commentary along the way.
On the remix front, we're v pleased to have Mark Hawkins on board, a veteran of everything from the legendary DIY parties of the nineties, to recent quality releases on the likes of AUS, Houndstooth, UTTU and Len Faki's Juxta Position. He takes on Vito's 'Galactic Chords' from the last EP, and adds a fat, crafted, mid tempo whomp to proceedings, complete with irresistible stabs and explosive breakdown. Class.
