After releasing recently the track "Sexotel" in our compilation RetroFutur, Panthera is back
with a definitely interstellar… cosmic… astral release !

This artist from the south of France has a gift : that of magnifying the analog synthesizers of the 70s/80s with a sensitivity all his own.
Surely inspired by the founding fathers of a new musical era like Jean Michel Jarre or Hiroshi Yoshimura, Panthera expresses a whole retro culture in his music.

The eponym track "Superchampion" is a beautiful and sensitive track, slow but sure. The perfect track to hit the road and get away from it all along the Côte d'Azur.

Clarion is cutted for the dancefloor. The rollin bass and the incredible pads/leads are supported by a powerful kick, a sharp snare and an effective rhythm.
Close you eyes, it's time to dance !

To close the original tracks, "Cruising" is so sweet. When you listen to that music, you can't help but think about 80s TV series full of good feelings like "Arnold and Willy" or "Punky Brewster".
Banger for the heart !

The first remixer is none other than David Carretta himself.
We are really proud that he agreed to contribute to this release. David brings all his talent in the track "Superchampion" to make it a hit between Italo and EBM. A hopeful story of almost 7 minutes at a time when tracks are unfortunately too short to tell great stories…

The last but not the least, the talentuous Doctr drops the second remix !
And it's the perfect track to complete the release.
As usual, the dutch artist shows his mastery of Italo music.
Dropping perfect Batucada percussions to launch the track and during a crazy break, he brings to the original piece a real vintage but modern side ! Amazing !
