We here at Elliptical Sun Melodies are proud to present you all with our next release which comes from one of Ireland’s finest artists as well as a returning label contributor to ESM…Jay FM. Having made his first contribution to the label with his single Black Magic, Jay returns to us with a fresh and dreamy 2 track EP titled Perfect Day. This two track combo is sure to be a real pleaser for the fans of Jay’s work as it is a true combo of Jay’s talent for progressive and passion for Chillout…which combined creates an amazing display of luscious atmosphere and driving beats. Perfect Day starts out with some chunky kicks, slapping snares, harmonious chords and some impressive synth sweeps that really get the track moving along quickly. After a short mini build up the track adds on its warm rhythmic bass line followed by a new lead melody that really opens the track up even further adding another beautiful layer of emotion and depth. The main build leading to the drop is short but sweet, filled with decayed vocal stabs and sweeps that are quickly accompanied by layer upon layer of the tracks lead melodies. All in all this track is fittingly named as it was truly a perfect day when Jay approached us with this melodic bombshell. On the back side of the release we have the track Limelite which is an absolute heart melter. Filled with immense layers of dreamy textures and harmonious chords this track truly delivers a bundle of serene emotions and cerebral stimulation. Packing some heavenly layers of depth infused atmosphere, the tracks serene chords and cushioned kicks drums are followed by some crisp snapping snares and an amazing whining synth lead that really gives this track some strong emotional pull. The tracks main build up is a dreamy swirl of atmosphere as the tracks percussion returns and lays out the path for the returning lead elements as it builds up to its full capacity one last time.
