Our first release of 2023 comes from an artist we’ve been a fan of for a while, German DJ and producer, Kristin Velvet, who lands on Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters imprint with her brand-new single, ‘Perfect Division’.
Dubbed as one of the modern House scene's most treasured adherents by DJ Mag, Kristin has devoted her life to music for more than a decade, initially as a promoter and DJ in Tokyo and later as the Australian label manager of Domino Records. Today she is an essential figure of Berlin’s club scene, heading up Arms & Legs Records; the label she runs with Daniel Steinberg, which has featured a long line of killer remixes & releases from respected artists including Cari Lekebusch, Paul Johnson, 808 State, Nick Holder & Crazy P.
‘Perfect Division’ is geared straight for the 3am dancefloor with its rave-inspired modulations and euphoric synth and chord work, imperative vocal stabs and commanding bassline throughout which all build to an explosive peak that will rip the club apart!
