ANAKLAV was born and raised in Brazil and lives in Berlin. Her training as a media designer for image & sound makes her an all-rounder, especially when it comes to DIY video clips and cover artworks for her releases. On her way she took on numerous musical influences: 90s house & techno, Berlin electro & UK bass, disco & punk - its all in the mix. "Feeling Acid" - how the track came about and the story behind it: “Even as a little girl in Brazil I grew up with the sound of ACID HOUSE from Chicago: DJ Pierre, Sleezy D, K-Hand… My older brothers were drawn there, not only to the sound but also to the club culture. This sound from the Roland TB-303 really gets under my skin, and now I finally dared to make a track like this, with great respect for my idols. The typical sound of the 303 in the track was created by wrong programming of my synth in Ableton Live. I just stuck with it and kept going.
