This new record is one of the artists most forward-thinking works to date, as it highlights his broad scope and visionary production aesthetics. The first song, "Apache," has a unique rhythmic flavor. The steady four-on-the-floor bass drum is bass-heavy yet smooth. It locks in perfectly with the hi-hat on the upbeat and some other glitchy percussion sounds to add flavor. The bass line quickly morphs into a juicy synth line, acquiring more presence as the song continues. The fast-paced tempo of the track makes the song very easy to relate to and incredibly dynamic. The title track itself is the highlight of the EP. It provides a huge wall of sound where all the percussive elements interact perfectly. In addition, the bass line has a distinctive tone, which is rich, yet also very clean and focused. The melodic keys are sparse yet very atmospheric, bringing a lot of depth to the song. The remixed version of the song, made by Moldovan producer Minube, has a different vibe. The remixer set out to add a unique spin with his kaleidoscopic style. Last but not least, the song "Frogcontrol" explores an even thicker soundscape with some mesmerizing ambient pads and unique tonal nuances. Ultimately, The EP features dense soundscapes and mesmerizing textures. Still, the rhythmic pulse is always on the forefront, never struggling to cut through the layered and heavily nuanced mixes.
