Calm Stiege makes his release debut with South-London label Dancing Family. The 2020 winner of the Point Blank and RA music scholarship brings his infectious production skills for his first EP ‘Dumb Dumb’. Over the past year the DJ and Producer has been making moves with his acclaimed edits that have taken Soundcloud by storm. His edit of Anz’s ‘Panrico’ has gained him widespread acclaim on the world wide web culminating over 13k streams on Soundcloud.

On this 3 track project the South-East Londoner delivers 3 groovers perfect for the dancefloor. The long-standing AAJA Radio resident cherry picks elements from his go-to genres including UK Funky and Garage. ‘Exhaust’ starts things off with dark undertones and jumpy rhythms. With broken patterns and mysterious vocals this UK Funky inspired track is ideal for those head-down moments in the dance. Topping everything off is Calm Stiege’s signature Flute melody which you can find throughout his productions and edits.

‘Dumb Dumb’ continues the project with a floating melody and hard hitting industrial-like House rhythms topped off by groovy percussions. This one is a must when wanting to get that dance floor nice and warm for all the heaters to come. To end things in a more light hearted manner is ‘Sweat Dreams’ a track filled with hope and sweet melancholy. With UK Funky percussion and an infectious Saxophone Matt A.K.A Calm Stiege shows off his ability to swerve through different moods and energies within his production.
