As an ode to the life of a musician, in which change is constant and creativity waxes and wanes, 'Phases' is aptly named. This piano-led track is deep, hypnotic and warm. It features a beautiful piano melody that brings a certain calm, lapping at the consciousness as a breathy vocal draws you in deeper, whispering in and out of the groove. An insistent beat provides the cadence with beautifully written percussion.
