As we officially bring the summer season to a close, SCI+TEC welcome a return to our Bosnian brother, Sinisa Tamamovic. "Waking Up", his 2011 label debut was a huge success, sitting firm in the Top 5 of many key download charts. Sinisa's penchant of dirty organic drum sounds, clean rhythms and crisp percussion has seen him blossom with releases for 1605, Yoshitoshi, Night Light Records, Mindshake Excentric and of course SCI+TEC.
The "Wind" ep is a one-two punch to the senses. The title track with its mighty funk-fuelled bassline and filtered drops is a perfect party starter. A moment of mystery and tension is created by its whispered vocal in the breakdown, only to be quashed as the sub-thumping bassline stomps back in.
On the flip Sinisa delivers a soundtrack of robotic sickness with the off-kilter percussive elements, relaxed BPM and cavanous atmosphere of "Broken Machine". Both cuts have been key tracks in the sets of label chief Dubfire for some time and are now ready to be unleashed on the world.
