Agape Muzik is happy to welcome this awesome 3 Tracker EP by Querido (CH). Querido Manoel Bambembula was born in Zurich on 11th October 1997. When he was 9 years old his father, who at the time was working in a Club called Kaufleuten, gave him some Mix-CDs from DJ Antoine, who at the same time was the resident DJ in that Club. That was the first time Querido was exposed to and got in touch with electronic music, though it still took him almost 14 years to really dive into the world of and be interested in that music genre. Prior to that he used to just be a music geek, a dancer and enjoyed music in general.
Becoming a disc jockey was not in the picture though, because in the swiss hip hop scene on a Saturday evening you would expect 40 hits and get exactly that, which never really impressed him. It still always was very important for him to find new music, be it through listening to the non-commercial songs on an album or through finding a new genre in general. The euphoria and the happiness that come up with new, unknown and good music are also the main goal of every of Queridos performances.
When he was around 21 years old he eventually was persuaded by a friend to come to a techno event. The music being played there was different, new, thrilling and groovy. January 2018 then was the start of something really big. Benjamin started visiting a club called 'Friedas Buexe' almost every weekend und realized quick, that every evening the music was different. That aroused his curiosity. He was fascinated by the number of styles in the genre, as well as by all of the artists contributing their part to make scene as diverse as it is and a year later decided to also become a part of all of it.
Nowadays he plays in several clubs, mainly tech house, but also minimal, deep tech and often regular techno. Creating something new with two tracks, whether self-produced or by other artists, is Queridos craft. Even though he sees himself as more of a producer, he always loves to share new music with the world.
