Fanzine Records expands in the time-space continuum with the launch of IOR, a sub- label that showcases Roi's most personal vision of his Techno universe: categorical, expansive, with gigantic basses and propulsive rhythms. IOR emerges as a sub-outlet for the increasingly prolific production of Corunna’s native artist.
IOR spreads around dualities: past-future, avant-garde and tradition, inspiration in the homeland (‘Magical Galician’, its myths and legends, misty and humid forests...), and at the same time in the dystopian abstraction of Techno, the confused present and the uncertain future.
The forthcoming EPs will be linked to different characters from Galician history and mythology. This dualistic vision of past-future is one of the germinal signs of IOR, where Roi's hefty, opaque and point-blank Techno merges hand by hand with mythological and magical chapters from a remote place at the end of the Earth.
