With this next release we’re proud to introduce not only an experienced musician, a talented multi instrumentalist or one of the most promising aspiring producers of the scene to our label, Geordie aka. Presia is also a such a kind and amazing character aside of his work.

Based in Annécy, a city in the french part of the alps, he’s eagerly working on his material, creating one beautiful piece after another with an almost indie band like approach.

The title track “Penumbra” starts with a recorded shaker, then a pumping house beat comes in that forms the groove foundation of the track. With more or less crazy synth lines dropping in, the track tells his unique story until it all fades into well designed breaks. When the main break hits, a sudden outburst of harmony happens and history is made when the beat comes back in.

Following the title track with a more tooly approach “Coral” checks all the boxes for what some might call a perfect A2. A heavy hitting percussive groove, dirty deep sub shots and a hypnotic repetetiv mid section that gives the track its glamorous moment before the final drop.

Track three “Hexact” shows a more emotional side of Presia’s productions. A beautiful guitar harmony is jammed over a repeating percussion section building a strong intro section. Then the baseline comes in together with the first kickdrum after almost two minutes. The musical journey continues and you will find yourself releasing all your endorphins to this one. Goosebumps Alert.

The final track on the EP is called “Paper” and has its own very personal meaningfor Geordie. The deepest cut of the EP also has those signature organic Presia drums, a very well selected harmonic progression and a lead synth that carries you through the whole song. Things get cinematic in the main break, just close your eyes and listen to an epos of a track.
