WPA063 brings back home, Nick Edwards from Portsmouth UK. This whole “Stroboscope” EP concept came to life while Nick was making live jams to test his brand new gear of classic 303 and 909 emulations. Meantime without tweaking much the machines, after programming the 303 lines and building the rhythm to embrace them, Nick noticed that this wicked bass lines where gaining a peculiar emotion on their own and so, he started to fly way back to the Rave Scene and Warehouse days, when rooms where dark, with nothing but a magic Strobe light, a PA and sick underground tracks that makes us go deep inside by getting in trance, listening sometimes to a minimal repetitive powerful sound only. By capturing this feeling straight away, these 6 songs were crafted with loads of love yet, aiming for our modern Speakers Range technology. Minimal, super simple, effective, balanced and straight forward to the dance floor, this is a very groovy and interesting approach to this magic genre:) Light up your stroboscope and turn off the lights.
