1995 was a great year in deep house, and some killer records first saw the light of day. Pal Joey's "The Raw Shit", Mood II Swing's "Move Me/Call Me", and Mondo Grosso's "Souffles H" all hit the racks and went on to huge acclaim. But, for Womack, things were just getting started... literally - he was born then! Luckily for him, his Mum was a massive house-head, and from an early age, he was more about the 4/4 than the 1s,2s & 3s. This in-built love of dance music has led him on to a music production degree and a slew of releases on hip imprints like Whoystro and 12+1 London. "Shadows" takes us on a more underground journey than we have been of late, but its spacey synths and slow-burning bassline make the perfect dancefloor floor-starter or after-party bumper.
