Slamming track from another Aussie discovery!

Eight-Fifteen presents our latest discovery from the sunny shores of Perth, Western Australia, Ben Jam. His first release on the label, Evidence, features a chunky electro flavoured affair featuring a pumping bass line accentuated by synth stabs and vocal snippets.

Jeremy Sylvester takes on the track with his slamming remix which features a big brash bass sound that commands your attention.

Also included are a pair of remixes from fellow Perthite (now ex-) Vincent Kwok. With the Innocent Mix, Vincent completely turns the track inside out, transforming it into an uplifting masterwork. As a complement to the Innocent Mix, the Guilty Mix dives headlong into the old school vibe, with a driving 909-based rhythm track that conjures up the heady days of house.

Ben Jam has had a long and illustrious career in the DJ world, starting out as a Rave DJ before moving into the house and garage scene. His DJ career in London has spanned residences and guest spots at club nights including Gatecrasher, Favouritizm, Summerhouse, Fling, Better Days to name a few. He has also presented a weekly radio show with Favouritizm honch, Sarah Foote. In 2002, Ben started working with Jeremy Sylvester before emigrating to Perth in 2004. He is currently playing deep soulful house in the bars and clubs of Perth
