This cover was originally performed by Chaka Khan in 1975 on the Rufus featuring Chaka Khan project "Rufusized". Not everybody can remake a Chaka song, but Tracy Hamlin can! She is just incredibly versatile and has one of the most dynamic voices in the industry today. But wait...there's more. Speaking of incredible voices, Ed Ramsey makes a cameo on this song taking this duet to a whole other level.
Label resident producer and co-owner DJ Oji is responsible for making this collaboration happen. DJ Oji & Tracy Hamlin continue to see great success with their past release of "Cranes in the sky".
Joining DJ Oji on this project are musician/producers Rico McClam and Richard Payton. Both keyboard players have made great musical contributions to the overall production of the two alternative mixes offered in this project.
