Our journey through the musical nerve centre of Argentina continues as we pause
and focus on Argentinian protégé and rising star Marway, who joins the hallowed
halls of onedotsixtwo alumni with a sublime 2-tracker.
Marway delivers 2 deep but equally energetic tracks to the dancefloor in the forms
of Tohil and Hypnos. The opening track Tohil weaves carefully layered samples and
effects through a hot bed of intricate synthesized melodies, that groove alongside
razored stabs underpinned by beautifully crafted drums with some phat low end
grunt, as it works its way to a big crescendo of euphoria before dropping back to
some proper heads-down dancefloor business.
The second track Hypnos is its own masterpiece of sound. Marway's expertly-
crafted skippy beats flutter from start to finish, cheekily interacting with multiple
sequences of complementary melodies fused together creating wonderfully deeper
vibe and perfectly complimenting Tohil. Both tracks have garnered early support
from Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Gustin, Tripswitch and Steve Marx.
