Colombian talent Juan Dragster prepares to launch an impressive four-track release on Portugal's Unnamed & Unknow imprint - Fanta EP

Medellin based artist Juan Dragster returns to Unnamed & Unknown following several impressive appearances on the label. Backing up emphatic offerings on NoZzo Music, Kubbo Records and more, he is back with four freshly squeezed dancefloor jams as he makes his full solo debut.

Kicking things off, 'Sex Meeting' is a steady groover. Rhythmic sub-bass meets sturdy drum work, delicate percussion, swirling builds and bright synth tones to carve out a vibe-building opener.

'Fanta' comes next, turning up the heat with racy hat grooves and driving drums. A rippling ensemble of instrumental factors fill out a weighty Tech vibe from the outset whilst the track passes through stripped-back peaks and troughs - loaded with heavy bass notes, fills and shots, adding character to the mix.

'Grooveboy' keeps the energy at a premium, delivering more upbeat danceability. Heavyset kicks and fizzing percs drive the track forward alongside a roaring sub-bassline, intercepted by glitchy samples and howling vox layers from end to end.

'Da Groover' rounds the release off in ample fashion, delivering a blistering terrace-ready template. Pumping drums collide with endless percussive sequences whilst a bouncing bassline rides along below, accompanied by a soulful vocal lead and gritty acid synth lines throughout.
