Returning to the label 2 years after the success of 'Nachami EP', we bring back a good friend of Bushman: Da Africa Deep, who is returning with a small EP before the release of his Debut album. With the release of his debut album just around the corner, Da Africa Deep wanted to work with WeAreiDyll to release Aries EP first.
Aries EP is a journey where you don't need the archetypical drumline to get you moving. What Da Africa Deep does so well with his music is blending Melodic Synths and Piano chords to give the track more feeling than just your drumline. The growth in Da Africa Deep's music comes from learning from his piers for the last 2/3 years, ensuring he develops his sound the right way. The EP allows Da Africa Deep to shine through various Afro House patterns but keeping you on the same trajectory which is above the clouds.
Aries comes through strong with a sweet and smooth flip on your Typical Da Africa Deep melody; it brings you into the EP straight away and as soon as the chants come in, you are locked. This type of production from Da Africa Deep is why he is one of the bright stars in the scene. Enlisting Sona, for the track 'Bind', Da Africa Deep explained the bond they had when creating this release and why it differs from your run usual Afro House tracks you would hear. The cowbells carry the track while the Piano mixing with the Synth elevates the feeling inside you to keep moving. 'Te Amo' comes forward bouncy and allows the listener to enjoy the feeling of Afro House music. This laid-back style is working perfectly for Da Africa Deep, where you can see the early sets he has played have developed another side of production. The small vocal on the track not only gives a sense of familiarity with the drumline, but also gives the listener a reason to continue dancing.
