Music can often unite people behind a familiar feeling. It's not often that dance music is the genre in question, but the right song can still deliver. That's what's happened with this serious jam from Terri Anne and Jess Kidd. We'll let the bubbling bassline and cool chords do the work in the club and leave it to Terri Anne to describe how it happened, "Jess and I wrote the lyrics to this song the week after the profoundly saddening news of Sarah Everard's murder. We wanted to capture the sense of frustration, anger and helplessness that I'm sure most women felt at that time. "Nothing We Can Do" is a club track, though, so we chose lyrics that would be ambiguous enough to work well on the dancefloor without the listener needing to know what they meant."
