Nørbak inaugurates his eponymous label with Sátira - three brutalist works that explore the juxtaposition between empty space, diaphanous atmospherics, and antagonizing rhythms. Within, drones echo across dark and vacant spaces, intersected by disembodied voices and electric discharges. Terse rhythms unfold, overlaid by dense, celestial pads that serve as a deus ex machina to the EP’s otherwise ominous sound design - raw Birmingham austerity reimagined in a more contemplative context.
