After originally dropping in a Boiler Room debut in mid 2021 which led to hundreds of ID requests globally, Black Loops and James Pepper’s ‘Three Drops’ has grown like wild fire over the last six months. Initially getting pick up on underground channel SLAV, the release began to build a cult following in the club circles in Australia and Germany. Being spun by names like Kettama, Andryano and Chaos in The CBD. The digital release saw it steadily grow in European club spheres before recently starting to cross in to more mainstream dance markets. The extended version now sits on over 500K streams globally, all by pure word of mouth.
In line with the vinyl arriving the track is seeing another surge especially in Australia. Being touted “the song of Pitch Festival” (Songs Heard At Pitch Facebook group) the track was played four times across the weekend from names such as Job Jobse and Cassettes For Kids. Its seen more support from Bradley Zero, Harrison BDP, Demuja, DJ Boring and more. Thus arrives the ‘EDIT’. No sugar coating it here at Gallery HQ, this is a straight up shorter and more consumable version for digital pleasures. Backed by an official video arriving April 8 shot in the tracks birth place Marrickville, Eora. We love it, and it seems like some people out there do as well.
