Aphelion has spent a life deep in music making. Having been involved with multiple bands spanning two decades, he has long been a drummer and a synth-obsessive.

In 2019 he decided to pursue a new musical direction, attending subSine | Academy in Scotland to begin the journey into the world of electronic music.

Drawing inspiration from influences as wide-reaching as Nils Frahm, Max Cooper and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, he has wrangled his love of melody and married it to his passion for intricate rhythm derived from his years as a drummer, to create something entirely new.

Aphelion’s debut single, Bora, perfectly conveys this sound and is the sign of a bright future for this project.
