JC Oncala is an artist born in Madrid in the neighborhood of Vallecas who currently lives in Málaga. From a very young age, he dedicated his life to music and was influenced by different styles and music groups.
It has productions for different labels and works for television. Without leaving his facet of DJ which he truly loves, he has been practicing with careful dedication, for more than a quarter of his life, in vinyl and digital format. His sessions go through a multitude of styles, different artists and labels from different periods with a wide variety of musical styles.
This experience makes his productions diverse exploring new sounds and forms of production but always with a common creative line and a differentiated style.
The Shadowplay EP has three tracks:
Machinist, the first one: Created and composed of a rhythmic bass drum accompanied by some marked hi-hats, with an ambient background structure that gives it a particular aura, with a progressive and hypnotic rise that gives a depth to the track.
Shadowplay, the second one: It's the end of the Ep giving name to these three tracks conceived for listening and dancing, it's a track that acquires a leading role with its rhythm and main Melody accompanied by arrangements that make the listening richer. It decays at times to cause a great break and come back stronger.
Resn, the third one: Enveloping synths that create a particular Melody that catches you and does not let go, animated by effects, hi-hats and claps that create an atmosphere spatial and mechanical with melodic ascenders and descenders.
