Haze-M joins the label with an impressive double-header.
Washington DC-based Haze-M broke onto the scene in late 2011 and has been a prolific producer ever since with some 300 releases spread across labels as diverse as Diynamic, Stil for Talent, Systematic, Suara and Lost On You. Setting up his own imprint - Haze Music - this year has widened his appeal further.
An artist with a kaleidoscopic musical palette, Haze-M's tracks showcase poise and style. Starting with 'Abrupt Journey' gritty bass and a sparse percussive framework give way to twickling arps and emotional, airy pads that craft a sonic tale throughout. Next, 'Falling Sky' takes a deeper, more thoughtful path. Insistent stabs lead the way as the kick/bass drives the track with minimal percussion once more. New arp layers ebb and flow creating a constant refocusing for the listener as they quickly become hypnotised. Highly original work from the veteran producer and a highlight for the label, this will be a secret weapon for long into 2022 for many.
