The new year heralds an evolution in The Niceguys musical direction, as the Swiss production team focuses on a soul and funk-infused, disco fuelled sound. 'Irie' is the first song to deliver on this, evoking a warm feeling like the simple joy of a sunny day, driving the freeway with the roof down, sipping drinks by the pool, or being with someone special, everything is "Irie". Barbados-born Bobby Saint delivers a jaw-dropping vocal performance, packed with his electric modern soul and native LA vibe forming the perfect counterpoint to The Niceguys outstanding production and creating an uplifting earworm of a song.

Supporting the excellent original version are two remixes of the highest order. Queen of all things Disco, Natasha Kitty Katt delivers a bass-heavy, peak after-dark disco cut, fusing rolling bass over driving rhythms and Bobby's inimitable hooks.
