This release includes tracks written between summer 2020 and fall 2021. Apart from having the "Noir signature", they are very different pieces of music yet they seem to fit perfectly together.
The 5 tracks represent completely different timelines and emotions from me.
Noise experimentation was a big part of the production process on these tracks. From simple white noise and rain to static and vinyl crackle. From pleasant analog tape saturation to random digital glitches.
The meaning of the word Stratum is; a layer of material, naturally or artificially formed. A number of parallel layers one upon another. The perfect description for this release.
