Beings of 6 Dimensions

David Morley & Davy Vandegaer

The first track They is the most energetic. Driven by crushed rhythms and a heavy bass providing a feeling of pressure, animated with a robotic voice-like warped synth initiating you into this odd world you just began to explore.

The Why Of The Thing is a more atmospheric piece, where a bold kick drum leads you into a dizzying haze of floating particles, propelling you, despite a few frictions and swinging artefacts, to a gentle state of weightlessness.

Digging further, you enter the bodiless experience of Rage Against The Dying Of The Light, a slow odyssey through a renascent jungle glowing in the dark atmosphere of a posthuman reality, slowly coming to life again, notwithstanding the dreadful waves of sound occasionally bursting from the depths.

Uninhabitable Zones opens with a haunting and heady bassline, going along with bleeps, shaken up by the unpredictable trigger of a metallic beat, whose subtle delay gives all the groove. All of this conveys the impression of witnessing the transmission of advanced tribal signals or encoded messages from unknown sources.
