Well-known Canadian producer, Hrdvsion, joins Idyllik Records with modular techno EP. Up and coming artist Chathura brings a late-night banger to Hrdvsion's Expander. Both are new to the label and giving us a complete techno takeover.
From the words of the artists themselves, Expander starts with an SH-101 jam recorded in the hot Berlin summer nights, equipment blinking like stars and warming the room past an acceptable comfort level, creating a glow of sweat. It's washed out with reverb, reminiscent of the long days, into the sunset, into the sunrise, repeatedly until everything is a blur. Fast F Forward is a fragmented snapshot of time, traveling back and forth over the Atlantic Ocean. The adventures of experiencing different cultures and different ways of life come about on this track. Everyone is welcome to explore the sounds inspired by the beautiful Detroit. Finally, Chathura brings Expander to a more club dance track with techno elements. The party continues with arpeggiators flowing freely.
