Canadian producer Fringe throws back thirty years on his latest release, the classic acid house track Beat Box.
After years of producing jungle tracks, Fringe needed a change of pace. 'I had a Roland TR-707 drum machine for years, which was the rhythmic foundation for that classic Acid House sound,' explains Fringe. 'When Behringer releasing the TD-3 303 Clone, I thought, 'This is it.''
The result is a groovy, energetic track with a bouncy bassline and vocals that are reminiscent of some of the finest late 80s-early 90s acid house, such as Housemaster Boyz's House Nation. Pure fun at 129bpm.
