Tensione Casio is a record/project entirely devoted to a “cinema di genere” / genre cinema which no longer exists but still keeps being referred to nowadays: from Umberto Lenzi’s car chases (strictly on Alfetta), to Lucio Fulci’s visual deliriums and more, from Riz Ortolani’s illusory relaxations to Augusto Martelli’s detours on the theme. Directors who blends and get confused with their composers bringing about a precise iconography, a layered universe of sounds and images.
