Steffan Blaze makes his label debut on Moon Beam Records this April with a serenely melodic five-track release entitled 'Iris'.
Nice based DJ & producer Steffan Blaze is a rising name on France's southern house and techno scene. With early releases on Electropical and Gaia Sound, Moon Beam Records now welcome Steffan this coming April, as he prepares to deliver five immersive cuts in the form of the 'Iris' EP.
Steffan opens the EP with the downbeat 'Iris', a richly melodic slice of electronic sounds, combining spiralling leads with eerie soundscapes and distorted elements, whilst 'Orenoque' ups the tempo, fusing smooth melodies with atmospheric synths and warped vocal samples. 'Dreamer Planet' delves into deep territory fuelled by a vibrant lead, hazy chords and delicate pads to deliver a truly nebulous production. Penultimate cut, 'Lake Distortion' continues the cosmic vibe, as arpeggiated synths unite with manipulated vocal chops and spiralling effects. The astonishing 'Knysna' rounds out this well-executed EP in style, whilst marking an impressive label debut in the process.
