İstanbul based producer Doğukan Açar, aka Fluctuosa, manages to build a sonic portal via his nuanced, eccentric and multi-layered song structures. His latest release “Physical Hack”, which is also his first for Müstesna Records, is a collection of eight mind-bending tracks. While the slow-burning album opener “Sulcus Sata” provides a sci-fi influenced entrance to this acid madness, there’s a distinct eerie and messy feel underlies and resonates through “Physical Hack”.

One of the most prolific artists in the city’s underground scene, Fluctuosa spent 2020 constantly working on new music. In that sense, “Physical Hack” reflects the mental sediments of the time.
