A hand picked selection of remixes from the DEAD CERT. back catalogue to start off the new year.

01. William Arist - Allure (Hemka Remix)

Hemka is a Parisian powerhouse who has released on Ellen Allien's BPitch, Ben Sim's Symbolism, TWR72's Float Records and Darko Esser aka Tripeo's Balans imprint. Her uptempo style is full of energy with a focus on raw, edgy, analogue sounds that has seen her grace the legendary Tresor and Rex Club. Hemka opts for a driving tom roll rally, that gets straight down to business. The manic looping hook make this is an absolute rocket ready to be launched into space.

02. BYLLY - Carbon (HD Substance Remix)

Veteran artist HD Substance who runs the SUB tl label in Spain also joins the release. His back catalogue includes fine labels such as Joton's Newrhythmic, Xpansul's True Type Tracks, Housemeister's AYCB, Detroit Underground and Ricardo Garduno's Illegal Alien. The remix is an energetic piece from the off. A hustle and bustle pattern of frantic parts with a hypnotic and modular style melody, begin to open this up to new realms, carving out a contrasting and serious side.

03. Andres Gil - Radiation (Moteka Remix)

Moteka from France is a key player on Electric Rescue's Skryptoem family and can also be found on labels such as Children of Tomorrow, Mary Go Wild Black and Newrhythmic with solo material, or as part of super groups such as Moed3rn. His rework switches things up to a solid broken beat and gritty analogue sound. Completely transforming it into a new style with key remnants of the original, this is sound design at its finest.

04. Pyramidal Decode - Antidoto (Kirk Degiorgio Remix)

UK maestro Kirk Degiorgio is known for an eclectic production catalogue that spans his own Applied Rhythmic Technology (ART) Records, Carl Craig's Planet E, Rush Hour, Suara, or collaborating with Vince Watson and B12's Steve Rutter amongst others. Kirk Degiorgio's remix follows and opts for some haunting harmonics and a more mysterious feel. The introduction of morphing acid licks bring a whole new spaced out vibe adding a new layer of contrast to the original's sound structure.
