When I was creating this EP I wanted to make something dramatic & dark but still with a lot of groove. What always inspires me is thinking about what emotion I want to put into each track and what kind of mood it will put the listener in. Astral is a darker/more serious track that has a lot of background melodies moving behind a straightforward lead. Zodiac is more centered around groove with a lead arp built using a Drum & Bass high hat pattern-I wanted to try something different that might surprise people a little.
