Based in London and part of the London Modular family, Begg has a ton of knowledge and experience of modular synthesis that he enjoys using to play around with the listener’s mind.
In his own words he describes his approach, “I guess my kind of modus operandi is to freak people out a bit. I like the idea that someone listens to one of my tunes and thinks what the fuck was that sound or that little break. I guess I want them to ask a question, even if this question isn't related to what they've just heard.”
This is his debut EP and the tracklist was curated to showcase his wide approach to feeling and sound. With bumping up tempo moments, pure bangers, playful shufflers and meditative moments making up the overall experience of Corporal Pun.
This is the second in a series of digital releases from some new electronic producers which will culminate in a various artists vinyl package in 2020.
