Kouncil Cuts celebrates its first birthday, and welcomes Japanese artist Stones Taro into the growing roster of emerging artists releasing on the Scottish Label.

Based in Kyoto, Stones Taro's unique take on UKG, House and Breaks has seen him previously release music with the likes of Dansu Discs, Scuffed Recordings, Yam Records, Highball and has made his tracks become a regular select for respected DJ's across the globe.

The Brain Cable EP consists of three finely tuned Taro sounds, that perfectly resonate with the feel of the label in recent months. 'Brain Cable' and 'Promise' are a mid-paced rollers, dosed with post rave influences in all directions. 'Step Of Love' widens the selection with a punchy garage stepper, worked to perfection.
