Ouïe Circle is Acid Pauli and Nico Stojan’s sub-label that provides a platform for the wider circle of friends and artists associated with Ouïe.

With the seventh release, we are treated to five exquisite tracks from a combination of Geju and Acid Pauli himself.

Lead track Bird Box is a delight - a fidgety, elastic groove sets the tone, while esoteric sounds and textures punctuate the track to create its own little audio biosphere.
The original spans eight and half minutes, and feels almost too short.

Also included are two remixes, both with their own individual takes on the track. Iorie’s remix straightens up the groove somewhat, becoming a serious midtempo chugger with beautifully realized arpeggiated synths and a bubbling, magical atmosphere.

Ed Ed (who also appeared previously on Ouïe Circle 03) goes for more of a tropical workout - shuffling drums underpin a thick bass and lush, dreamy pads.

Elsewhere on this release, Geju offers up two new tracks. Monko is a low slung slo mo groove, that mixes infectious percussion with pulsing synth tones and ethereal leads. Anosino also mixes the worlds of sampled nature sounds with heavy kicks and a slinky, un-predictable arrangement - traversing the worlds of electronic and chill out music
