This is the first release on ALiVE Recordings' new Tech House & Techno imprint - 'ALiVE Black'. First up is Ross Evana. Ross has been a part of the ALiVE family from the start and is set to be one of the key artists for ALiVE Black with a second EP already lined up. With a phenomenal release schedule this year with tracks on Cecille, Break New Soil, Saved and Cocoon, Ross' unique groovy tech house sound has been championed by the likes of Nic Fanciulli, John Digweed, Seth Troxler & Joris Voorn. The original tracks here show off two sides to Ross' sound, with the punchy tech funk of 'Flash Mob' and the melodic late night sound of 'Captivating'. On remix duties we are proud to welcome one of Holland's most respected techno dj's, Bart Skils. Well known as one of the main players on the '100%% Pure' label, Bart turns in a driving techno workout of a remix for the tougher floors.
